Mould

The ProblemMould is not always apparent with a visual inspection. Continual inhalation of a concentrated amount of mould spores may result in allergies, respiratory difficulties and a general fog in the head amongst other symptoms. It is not uncommon that certain people may develop a severe reaction to the presence of even a slight bit of mould, hence it is imperative to keep indoor areas at humidity levels of between 30-60% to discourage growth.

Mould spores are commonly found both inside and outside. Spores land and take hold when moisture is present. This can be upon many differing surface types. Windows, doors, carpet and furnishings both soft and hard can accommodate mould growth. Mould growth is the spore latching onto the moisture content of these surfaces and feeding and then multiplying from this source.
