We offer water quality testing in these areas:

• Pesticides - many are linked with cancer
• Copper - can cause digestive problems, liver and kidney damage, increased risk of miscarriage
• Lead - is associated with learning and behaviour problems in children, nerve and kidney damage
• Iron - rust build up will turn the water a browny yellow color, clog pipes, affect water pressure and may cause digestive problems.
• Bacteria - which may include E coli can cause serious illness and death
• Chlorine - a lifelong consumption is linked with an increased risk of bladder and bowel cancer
• Hardness - caused the build up of lime scale which can affect your white goods and a higher use for shampoos and detergents
• PH - the more acidic the water, the greater the rate at which heavy metals can leach
• Nitrates and nitrites - associated with serious health risks and an increased risk of blue green algae and blue baby syndrome.

*Plus additional fees based on how many tests are required.

For those required to meet HACCP guidelines for food manufacturers, suppliers and servers with a water quality test, we can assess the above parameters and provide a report for $250 (an additional fee may be charged for clients further than 30km from Melbourne CBD).

Clients who have particular concerns may want to have Environomics advise them in their area/s of individual concern (minimum 1 hour).
